and Ice Rarity- I fell in love with a prototype/factory error where she ended up with light blue hair but couldn't find her on Taobao and her auctions went crazy high so I just made my own version and I like it better then the proto I saw

Her hair colors should be Daiquiri Ice and water nixie because I love that combo and I had some partial bags of it after finishing up Spunkys tail finally.

I finished 4 more re-hairs last night (all princesses) now I only need to do 5 more to be caught up on my collection ponies that have been waiting for hair~ Trouble is I really cant decided on the hair colors for Princess Misty- this is my other Misty I did a while back and I just can't come up with another combo that looks as good as this on her, and I don't want her looking less stunning then her sister :/

This is one of the most beautiful rehears I have ever seen. I don't know why, but that colour combo, starting with that golden streak, just works so well!

It is really beautiful. I think the prettiest colours for re-hair are those that pick up the other colours on the pony (like Ice Rarity ) but it's hard to know, sometimes unexpected things work.

I think the hair colours are so great here for several reasons (1) because they match the other elements on the pony - body (violet), eye (Cyan) and jewel (purple, gold) colours (2) they also include the missing colour in the 'rainbow' which is dark blue, to create harmony (3) gold works here as an opposite colour (orange-yellow) to the blue and purple which makes the finished pony look really special. The gold against the body colour is exquisite so perfect to start with it at the top of the mane.

What a wonderful analysis of why her colors work so well I think I spent over an hour picking them out~ I finely decided on the colors for her sister and I think she turned out rather stunning as well
