Cate I love your puffs! I much prefer sherbet with that hair!

And I love Spunky. What are those those blue-green colours in his hair? I'm guessing the lighter one is dacquiri ice...

I wish I had money to buy more hair, I've got sooo many baits.

Spunkys hair colors are dacquiri ice, water nixie and butterfly.

Oh my gosh Cate, your yarn re-hairs are unbelievable! The blended colors are so pretty!  Sanadaookami, Rarity looks so amazing with blue hair!  I have a feeling I will be collecting re-hairs now since there are so many creative people here!

Can I ask ya'll - where do you find such variety in yarn colors? I use specific brands and types of yarn but, unfortunately, we don't have a Michaels around us, and Jo-Anns, Hobby Lobby, Walmart and Hancock Fabrics have basically the same few colors everywhere, except online... I'm definitely trying to seek out a white yarn, a light blue yarn, a light and dark green, and light purple and light pink, but can't really find them...

The yarns that i've been using for the multi colored blends, is actually a multi colored/dip dyed skein of yarn. I think the brand is called Charisma or something like that?

Hrm, I'll have to look... I've only been using one brand of really thick stuff, and haven't seen many other brands that are... that same type of texture. I know I can't use the real thin yarn, I had zero luck with that, lol :biggrin; Thanks!

I found mine at Michaels, but I would bet they have the same stuff or something very similar at Joanns

Yeah I was pretty disappointed at my local Jo-Anns to be honest. I will have to check again for other brands, I may have just been looking at certain ones and not seeing them all...

Now when you guys are using this yarn, is it the yarn that's all wavy to begin with? Or is it like thick, normal twisted yarn?

Normal twisted yarn, but its only 2 strands twisted together, versus the 4 strand thick twists.

Okay! That's good news, I actually did find some variety in some 2 strand "thick yarn" but I haven't tried it on anyone yet... I KNOW there were more colors of that kind of yarn available than the 4 strand thick.

You guys are awesome! I have some new rehairs to share, need to get the photos all fixed up and uploaded!
