Zelfs! Ohmygosh they're way too cute.

I've been waiting forever for the new characters!! Been doing nothing but saving up for them! But where are they?

And that Birchy actually looks pretty cool! Why not paint on some eyes and let his head float in a little bottle of light green solution? Like a little alien head! XP

So the head was made of clear plastic with glitter in it and painted? No clue why they did it that way but now I wish there were Sparkle Lil Zelfs.

Quite a few of the Series 2 Lil' Zelfs are made of different plastic painted over, either the clear glitter plastic, or solid white plastic. I guess maybe they did that because they couldn't achieve the colors they wanted in the solid plastic (just a theory). Even so, I don't understand it, and the painted-over Zelfs don't look nearly as nice as the solid-colored ones, in my opinion. I'm actually quite a bit disappointed in the Series 2 Lil' Zelfs for this exact reason, and I find myself liking Series 1 more, even though the newer Series has so many cute new poses.

so just curiouse any other country esdies south Africa finding the enw medium zelfs  my daughter is going batty waiting for them lol she has been saving her money in her piggy bank from a big garage sell we had and her bday money and allowance my child has saved up two hundred and twenty five dollars and twenty five dollar bday gift card to toys r us s here is what she is saving for thought I would share bored lol and wondering if the other zelfs are popping up

@Rhini: Ohhh, mini Lochlan! Yes, he is green hair all the way. Maybe they thought green body and pink hair looked too much like another Zelf chara.

Poor mini Birchy! lol! Well science is important! Maybe you can make him a body somehow and sell him as a custom. ^_^

My mini pearl Webina is solid white plastic inside, and my mini pearl Flitter is clear glittered plastic inside. As Lucky Leaf said, it seems they are painted. Maybe it was cheaper to mass produce them all in one color and then paint them afterward. Or maybe as Lucky said they couldn't get the shades of color they wanted in the plastic itself so they painted them.

@FluffleNuff and aubreysmommy: They are definitely showing up all over the US now, both east coast and west coast, and I've seen people from Europe posting that they have found them as well. I'm sure they will be in your area soon, just make sure you're only looking in TRU. Walmart dropped the line and will no longer be carrying them. Probably didn't make them enough money. You can also order through Amazon.com.
