Guinea Pigopolis!

We are finally done constructing our guinea Pigopolis! The top two levels are the house for our two girls, and the bottom levels belong to our three boys.

Awww. Piggies are so fun . I love how they hear the fridge shut and start wheeking because they know its veggie time.

Wow!  Your pigopolis looks awesome!  I've had hamsters before but not guinea pigs.  Do they go in a litter box like a ferrets do?

Not really lol. Some people say they can be trained to use a litter box, but we just clean out the poop daily. Their poop hardens almost instantly, so it is really easy to scoop and throw out.

We have lined their cages with puppy pads and then fleece on top. The fleece helps wick the pee down to the puppy pad so the top stays dry. Then every Sunday we throw the fleece in the wash, put new puppy pads in, and they have a nice clean cage.

The ferret I used to have didn't always use the litter box either.

That sounds like it works well, with the puppy pads under there.  Your set up looks really nice!  I love it

Awww, she's so cute! I had a guinea pig 8 years ago that looked a lot like her. Her name was Peanut. And I had a pretty yellow & white guinea pig named Daisy when I was in high school.

They look great! I had my rattie cages lined with fleece as well. Due to allergies I no longer have rats but I'm back with my old love, the guinies They have their little paradise (an ikea cabinet) with ecobed (carboard chips). And then of course there is outside play-time

Awww, she's so cute! I had a guinea pig 8 years ago that looked a lot like her. Her name was Peanut. And I had a pretty yellow & white guinea pig named Daisy when I was in high school.

Yeah she's a sweetheart . She will come to the edge of the cage and give kisses.

Awww your guineas are cute! I wish we could do outside play time with ours, but Arizona isn't exactly guinea pig weather. Maybe during the early winter/ late fall time. But then we will have to find grass xD. We have rocks lol.

I had one as a kid it was so fun. One day I'll have another one, but that's when I don't have inside cats and doggies.
