How much space do your ponies have? Hubby wants to know...

I have ponies and playsets in 3 rooms, a wardrobe and a closet  ..sometimes they spill over into more depending on cleaning, sunfading, and ..er..spending sprees   Most of them are in one room but since my collection is well over 1000 (read: probably double that)  and I have quite a big Disney Tangled collection too ... its hard to keep them just in one place

I keep my ponies in an old toy box in my bedroom closet. However, I'm not married, so I don't know how helpful my answer is.

90% of my collection is in storage. I only have some gen4 ponies in my room and a few (like, 10) gen1. I just don't have space for many others, and to be honest I don't want ponies to take over my room completely! ^^"

We bought our house because it had enough bedrooms for me to have a dedicated Pony Room.    I also have ponies in my office and spare bathroom, but just customs and fixer-uppers I'm working on.

Well all my toys and crafts are in a spare room- so I guess they share a room with the rest of my frivolous stuff.   I get a lot of crap for it... my wife wants us to turn it into a giant walk-in closet

I currently have an Ikea cabinet in my bedroom for my ponies. I'm hoping it would help restrict my need to get more ponies because I don't want it to overflow but I don't think so...

I wish I had a spare "bonus" room. However, I wouldn't use it as a pony/toy room. I'd die to have an exercise room. I do exercise at home, but space is very limited.

In my room, I got eight wall mounted shelves, seven of which are occupied by ponies (the top most shelf is for some of the bigger Transformers in my collection. Fortunatelly, my collection isn't very big, and some of the ponies that are in not-so-presentable condition are either packed up, awaiting restoration, or are currently sitting on my window getting sunfaded, so it can still be fit into one space.

And seeing as my collection's getting bigger at rather slow pace, I don't think I'll be needing a separate room in a loooong while.

I have four three-foot-ish shelves, plus the top of a filing cabinet and a little extra wall space. The husband and I share a collection room. (It's the second bedroom in our two bedroom house.) Unfortunately for me, he collects MOC Star Wars figures, so I have no more room to expand on the wall. Kind of a problem too, considering I have a bunch of ponies sitting around the room waiting to be put on the shelves... that have no more room on them. Time to thin the herd!

Now, if we want to talk about my Kimono and doll collection. . .  I have two tansu chests, one is a medium sized, three and a half feet tall and three or so wide, and stuffed with kimono.  This one least serves as a tv stand for us in the living room.  The other plays part as a display, but is around 8 feet wide.  The bottom forms big chests, and they're about 2 feet tall of space and the full 8 wide.  Again, stuffed full.  The top is filled with my tea ceremony and dance supplies and displays about twelve or more of my dolls.  Two drawers in my bed stand also hold kimono, as it has gotten so bad.  I plan to sell some in September so I can shove my latest Geisha kimono in one of the tansu's.  The dolls are everywhere too.  On my headboard, in my room, in the living room, wherever.  Hahaha.  Ponies are kind of second for me in terms of collecting, but because I live now in an a place that is a bit more expensive, and I have only so much room, I've been collecting ponies more than anything.  They take up less room and are cheaper than kimono!  Mwuahaha!  It's really not my pony collection that is worrisome, but the kimono.  I'd estimate I have at least 100 or more. . .

Oh wow!! Please tell me you have pictures of your collection somewhere, because all of this sounds amazing!

I moved in with my boyfriend recently, and we both have our own hobby-room. So I'm going to put some glass showcases in there and put my ponies in. But it's not going to be an all-pony room.
