I always thought that pony was a male
I am more confused by the fact a moulded hair pony has soft silky hair?
Delightfully decorative pony figure looks like the DJ Pon-3 character.
Quote from: Firehooves on July 24, 2013, 08:37:02 PMactually, if you read the description, it says he has hair "LIKE the favorite DJ pony" It's not DJPon3, but this 'vynil scratch' is appeatenly a seperate pony canonically, using the brony nickname for a canon character for a seperate male lookalike. This is what I was thinking as well when I read it. It makes it sound like it's a different character altogether. DJ's glam male counterpart? Another pony cosplaying his favorite DJ? Twins? lol, I don't know.

The same paragraph that calls her a he also refers to "his" soft, silky hair. Another Hasbro screw-up. DJ's a girl
Awesome got HER . I caved in lol. I was not going to go for the exclusive , but since it was available..... Why not , if I don't like it I can always trade her or sell her later on ! I also went for PTS exclusive one since I'm paying shipping already for one

So Hasbro's going with the idea that Vinyl Scratch and DJ Pon3 are different ponies, as opposed to the more realistic idea that "DJ Pon3" is just Vinyl's stage name? Silly...I don't understand Hasbro's reasoning for this if that's what they're doing. I don't mind them trying to keep all fans happy (though they shouldn't pander), but making them different ponies seems odd, especially after they made Lyra and Heartstrings the same pony, after realizing that the fans were complaining...

Also: nope, I don't think Hasbro's reading the MLPA. I figure G4-only fans were as outspoken about the mix-up as the all-gen fans; as far as Hasbro's concerned, only the former exist, but in this case everybody wins!
