Duct Tape & Caprisun Crafts!
« on: July 24, 2013, 10:20:00 AM »
Hey everyone! Nohpny here~

Recently I got into crafts involving duct tape and caprisun pouches. I made a
blue Bi-Fold wallet.

It was kinda a hot mess and I wasted a lot of duct tape trying to figure out how I was going to do this. I ended up with three pockets on the left, a secret pocket and an ID holder on the right. I thought to myself this is pretty cool, but I destroyed my scissors. TT~TT I continued to use my duct tape on a
blue pencil pouch.

It uses a ziplock lock to close it and fits almost everything. I made it about 2 centimeters short, so a not sharpened wooden pencil didn't fit.

After that I found a box of Caprisun pouches and made a
simple Caprisun wallet.

It has two pockets, one when you open it and one behind it. I thought it was pretty nifty. I even made a
Caprisun coin pouch.

Both of which I can add velcro to have a better closure.

I soon found an alternative to cutting my duct tape, a $1 hobby knife used for model cars. With this knife and being extra careful I created the best wallet ever! In my opinion of my handwork...
This black with blue trim wallet.

Like the blue wallet it has three pockets on the left but it doesn't have a secret pocket on the right since I forgot. ^^;

This got me thinking... would anyone here like their very own duct tape wallet? Or something else made of duct tape? Nothing to crazy...? Or made of Caprisuns? Or something you want to see me do?

Right now all I have is black duct tape, I used the last of the blue on the pocket trims. With Caprisuns, I have Wild Cherry and a few Fruit Punch.

Very crafty!

My bf my freshman yr of H.S decided to go to prom in a ducktape suit and i went in a ducktape dress. It was fun but i couldn't sit down lol.

Your wallets and pouches look much more practical

Lol, That's really cool. I've some dresses made out of duct tape but I'm not that crafty to make something like that. xD

Thanks (:

I love duct tape wallets!

A friend in I used to make all kinds of wallet variations in hs. Now he's a fantastic and successful small business owner, still putting all of those creative ideas into design and products.

Thanks for sharing! It's such a fun and practical pastime.
