I agree, it IS an awesome starter kit!!  I wish I could say that's one of my prize contributions, but nope... it was contributed by an as-of-yet anonymous Arena member. ;)

Got an update today from Shen on how Falcore is doing.  It's not good news, and she has asked me to update the thread on her behalf since she is extremely upset (understandably so).

She told me that in addition to his other health issues, he now has kidney failure in both kidneys.  It was discovered that he is anemic as well, which explains why they haven't been able to draw any blood for his diabetes tests.  He has also had more vomiting and diarrhea.  At his vet appointment today, the doctor said that while he might make a full recovery, there is also a chance he might not. :(

Falcore will need to stay in the care of the vet for at least another day or two, which will of course increase the vet bill significantly.  Please continue to keep this precious puppy and his family in your thoughts and/or prayers (whichever you prefer).  And if you haven't bought raffle tickets yet and would still like to, send me a PM and I will make sure you get the info. you need.

Poor little guy.  I'm glad they are doing all they can for him.  I'll keep hoping and praying he will recover but with kidney failure it's a tough call.  I hope she can keep him comfortable as possible as they fight to save him.

I don't have any new updates on Falcore, but I do have a bit of good news for raffle participants.  We are very close to 400 tickets now, and if we reach that marker, there will be a 7th winner.  Also, there will be an AMAZING new prize added tomorrow.  I won't say what it is yet, but I promise it won't disappoint. ;)

Oh man, I'll definitely see what I can do to help out more.  But I'm curious, have they tried applying for CareCredit?  It's a credit card used only for vet/doctor bills, and under most circumstances you have between 6 and 18 months to pay for the charges you incur before they start charging interest.  I used it back in January when my beloved cat Boo was ill until I had to make the hard choice when she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer.  It was really a lifesaver for me, and it might ease a little of the burden here.

My thoughts and prayers are with Shenanigans and Falcore.  Here's hoping for the best.
