G3 Charms

I just got a bunch of G3 charms... I like them and want to collect them.

Are the G3 charms similar to the stickers found in G1 ponies (released only with the first few years)?

How many different colors are there?
Are they all in the SAME pose?
Which ponies came with them? (I know this is a loaded question)...

The MLPwiki is helpful, but I'm pretty sure it is incomplete and Strawberry Reef doesn't even touch the subject...

Every pony in the first and second wave had charms, and I have been careful to ID them right out of packaging so that they don't get mixed up. I can go into my G3 card drawer and pull them out I'll take pics.

So they really were not that wide spread? ... maybe then the Wiki is more complete than I had thought?

Would they be considered rare at all?

Anyone looking to sell/trade me more I'd love to get more of them.

Sure Keep in mind what I listed was off the top of my head. In the first year or so, they were about as wide spread with pony releases as stickers with G1's. Nearly every early release had one, but they stopped rather quickly. There was also a mail away offer to get a bracelet with two bonus charms, but they had no pearly friendship ribbon. Much like other G1 pieces,  they were small, got lost easily, and when you find them second hand, they tend to be tied tightly around the neck of a pony. I'll go round up my own and take some pictures. Bear in mind, it may take me a little time, but I'll get them up before the end of the day.

I'll go do just that. DO you want individual pictures of the charm with the pony, or a group shot? I can do whatever is best for you.

Also, I believe there were two molds

Whatever works, but I really want a list:
Red: list the ponies that had this color
Green:
Orange:
Clear:
Etc...

There was one site that had a page that listed them all completely and showed a picture of every one with which pony it came with. I'm trying to remember the site. It was an ID site like Strawberry Reef's... *thinks*

I'm sure someone will jump in here soon and fill in the blank for me lol. That's what is great about the Arena!

Keep in mind, certain promo ponies like butterscotch and autumn skye, did not come with charms in the usa. The individual released ponies in the uk came with charm but we only got promos with brushes here.

Minty, who came in the promopack did come with a charm however.

Yup ponytopia is the only site I can think of which lists them so accurately.

I love the charms, we have a ton of em!

I love the charms also. I find them in thrift store bags all of the time.  I have quite a nice collection of them, but many of them are actually on the pony or in a bag in my accessories bin.  I still do not have every color but its pretty close for me.
