What happened to Rainbow Dash??? TMI related :P

So I picked up a G4 Rainbow Dash today, with the party mask. Low and behold, she managed to get through the QC line, not considering how her tail hole is practically on her hind left leg! Has anyone else gotten tail holes where they don't belong, G4's particularly? Also, debating on de-boxing her... Thoughts?

G4 tails are always really lower than they should be anyway, but my goodness is that one bad! I can't believe that Hasbro quality control let her through

Urgh... I hate it when you get them home... and find flaws. I've had some slightly off tail holes that I've managed to live with, but grrr!

I'd keep her MOC and grab another loose one, it'd bother me too much!

.... wow. Just wow. That is something else... I thought a Cadence I got whose wing plugs things were half an inch out of her back like some grotesque purple hump was bad.. but that was a fixable problem for a customizer. You take the prize here.... it's like the Cyclops pony animation error in "Best Night Ever"....

I have a Pinkie whose tail is like that too! Almost if not exactly in the same spot as your Dash.

As per deboxing, it's up to you whether you want to brush her hair etc or reveal those eyes behind that mask?

i have a vintage g1 flutterwings honey suckle with her tail on her back and a glory with symbols well of and they seem to have past QC however i keep them cos its unique, that dash is pretty cool looking on the bright side.

i would keep her as is for the future.

i finally got a little white brushable Celestia just for her to have messed up plastic on her display side body, now that bugged the heck out of me, i was going to return her but i would be doing that all the time, so just have her hair covering her rough body.

I have seen a few ponies that has messed up tails in the store. I always look them all over before I pick out one to buy. I have even passed on a pony cause they all had flaws. Sorry to hear that you got her like that.

I've always been picky about what I'm buying. I'll look at every single one (of anything) very carefully before choosing the best one.

Lol - I guess with the thousands and thousands of this pony being made the odd mistake is inevitable. That is very funny though - maybe Rainbow Dash sneezed when she was getting her tail added

Its not as rare or sought after an error as say the hornless Rarity, so I dont think she really holds more value than a normal RD. So I think free her if you want or keep her MOC if you prefer. Congrats on owning her.

Lol, I actually chose her just because she had her tail in an odd spot. I was after sunset shimmer and grabbed her, but odd dashie was there so i got her too. I couldn't resist her for some reason. It's sad that hasbro has been pushing so many ponies with messed up paint jobs and dents in body marks- I always investigate to make sure they are void of those defects. But an odd tail position was just too good to pass up I think I'll keep her in he box and pick up a better looker

Oops! Hasbro's QC is getting pretty bad! I have managed to avoid most issues but my Funrise Pinkie plush right eye is all bitty and scratchy (although she's not made by Hasbro...so I can't really blame them )

At least it's not as bad as a doll I saw reviewed by ashens (YouTuber)
