I mostly wanted the ponies that I never had as a kid but WANTED SO BAD. Isn't that funny? Most of my 'sudden grails' come when I see someone's picture of a pony I've seen before, but something about that particular picture makes me INSANE with WANT. Then I have to have one.

I still don't have an Ice Crystal but an awesome Arena member sent me a Gypsy in a swap so I have her. Seems like there's always a new grail to replace the one I just acquired...

I've had a lot, a lot of my collection are "sudden grails" that I saw and NEEDED (love the term sudden grail :lol: )

Most recently, Minty B. I needed her as soon as I saw her:

OMG! Cute Lanards! They are awesomely wierdly cutie! Great discovery.

My 'love at first site' was Blumenglockchen or Bluebell a peach pegasus with blue hair and flower symbol.  I normally buy ponies for £10 or less and do them up but I bought her as a birthday present for myself and just wanted her in good condition then and there with no worries. So I paid about £22 for her on ebay including postage, sometimes you just have to throw money at something. She's near mint so I'm pretty pleased.

My current grails are all the Year 3 Rainbows with sparkle symbols - harder to get as I like in the UK! So if anyone is upgrading please let me knowwww!

I had a Pina Colada when I was a kid, but she was the purple version. When I found out there is this bright red version, I just HAD to get her. When I saw the auction for this one, I decided I was going to get her. She was a bit expensive but.. So worth it!

She and Sail-away/Hula Hula (why would they give them the same names?!) are two of my favourite ponies. My Pina Colada has a frizzy mane and hardly anything left to call a tail. But I love her anyway  :lovey:
I'd like to give her a new tail, but I've yet to find a match for her bright hair o.O

Honey: She's a beauty, and so what if you overpaid, if you love her, which you clearly do, that's what counts! Not how much you spent! :) I overpaid horrendously for my year 3 sea ponies and shells, but I don't care since I still love them!

I had to get this pony when I saw her.  It's my birth flower, and I loved the colors.  I'll have to redo her hair, being in storage isn't the best.
