So, Lyra's colors didn't change, meh. Ditzy's name is just a picture of a bubble, and that's cute. I like the box, but some of those vectors are wild.

And are those paper headdresses/crowns or stickers or what?

Wow, 3377345 thanks for posting pics! If you happen to have a Lily Blossom, would it be too much to ask that you take a photo of her and Lyrica (that's her name, right?) side by side to see how their colors compare?

I am actually liking this set more than I thought now that I see loose owner pics. I hadn't even heard of the new head mold until this thread. Looks cute!

I ll admit to being disappointed that there is not more of a colour difference on Lyra but I actually think Queenie is nicer than I thought. Is the choppy hair and elastics exactly how she came out the box? I kind of like that.

The paper crowns are just lazy D: If they couldn't afford to add plastic crowns, why add them at all?
They might look nicer if they didn't have that big white border, even though the masquerade/luchador masks were also paper these just look cheap by comparison.

The muffin is cute, but they kinda should make a proper name for her just to end the confusion...

At this point, there's no safe name to pick.  Any name that is officially established will create all kinds of butthurt.

I personally like that they didn't name her.  I think that it could be a fun running gag.  I just personally would rather they had used her cutie mark as the symbol instead of a muffin.   Although, on the other hand, the disconnect between the symbol and her cutie mark might fit her mismatched eyes.  As others have said, at this point no one will be happy and at least this way, children can call her what ever they want.

If anyone doesn't want their paper crowns I am looking for them.  I bought most of these as loose prototypes so I don't have their silly crowns.

It probably won't be too hard to change the 'spots' on Chrysalis into actual holes with a bit of craftyness. Oh my my my the pony formally know as D---- is now just a muffin. I still don't get the popularity of her. I'm mostly into G1s though and don't watch much of the cartoon. I like Chrysalis though and hope to get her. I'm hoping I can buy it off toys r us US site at some point as it probably won't come to the UK.

Chrysalis looks wonderful!  I would love to have her in my collection.  Still don't think I would buy the whole set though, since I bought the Wedding Castle playset with Shining Armour and Cadence already.

Yes she looks black to me, definitely not purple-y like NMM.

They are paper with elastic around the back similar the the masks on thenewest wave of singles.

The elastics come in like that. I just smoothed out her hair a little and re-tied them. I kinda like it too. I did lightly trim a few crazy stray hairs but yes that is how the ends came.

Wow Chrysalis looks cuter out of the box!  Too bad Lyra isn't a different color green, but I guess that's not too surprising.  At least there are a few new ponies in this set!
