Aww, such a sweet story and many congrats to you both! :D

I had an unusual engagement location too lol!  :biggrin:  I'm aeroplane mad and Paul proposed to me on a Boeing 737 during the descent into Venice.  ^.^  Your ring looks similar to mine too, love it!  ;)

That's so cool that you heard about it! I didn't make a huge deal out of it except to a few of my friends. :blush: One of my coworkers told me I needed to brag about it, but I don't like going up to random people/coworkers and saying, "Hey! Look at me! I just got engaged!"

I'm glad you liked it! He worked his butt off trying to find a hat and a belt buckle. Which we ended up making the belt buckle and ducktaped it to his belt.

I really wanted a nerdy proposal. We're both nerdy so it made the proposal super special. :heart:

Thank you for the lovely compliment! I actually don't do anything special to them. I just wash them with soap on a regular basis. :)

LOVE IT!  Congratulations on your engagement, and you are SO lucky he proposed at a meaningful event/location!  I wish mine had.    :huh:   

Gorgeous ring too!  My promise ring is a sapphire and is similar.  Yay for non-traditional rings!    :biggrin:
