She is about 14, but due to severe mental disorders and a lack of human contact, she has the delusion that she sees multicoloured equines who can talk to her... It's her coping mechanism.

She's the last of the ruling ponies. The other princess ponies are princesses but they're not able to rule yet. When Majesty decides to retire she'll have to pick someone to rule after her.

In the beginning the castle was filled with royalty, The king was a goodly sort of man who cared for his kingdom well, but after his first wife had died, he remarried.
Her name was "Majesty" but she was anything but that and though the king had rule of the castle, Majesty had rule over him.

The country went into crumbles, the royal family becoming richer and richer while the poor were left to barely scrape by. Eventually it became too much and the starving peasants had a revolt and took down a majority of the castle(including several rooms you will note are missing) and tore the royal family from it's hinges.

They came in by the hundreds, easily taking over the spoiled royalty and even the armed castle guards.. they slew every one of them. The king, the princess and prince, the castle guards and even the cooks and cleaners... Every single pony except the pony Queen herself.
Her they left her alone in the ruin. They wanted her to live forever with the fact that SHE did this.. And so she sits alone in an empty castle to rot..
