Thirft store brag! My first one!

So I followed the advice I saw here to go to thirft store after a weekend because of donated garage sale stuff and it worked! I found Princess Dawn and Steamer! (and a fake that was chilling in the bag)

Steamer's hair is amazingly pink and I'm gonna be selling or trading him since I already got one. Poor Dawn has had better times. Her tinsel has been chopped off, her back leg has her askew, but she's also my first princess Dawn so by god I love her.

How cool! Poor Dawn, it seems that a lot of the second set Princesses get their tinsel chopped off. Hope you can restore her and that's a nice Steamer with pink hair :D

I'm not what you'd call remotely competent at restoring, so unless Dawn goes onto a new home, she's pretty much stuck as she is.

Congrats! They are both lovely :) Monday/after weekend thrifting is the best!!

I too keep ponies that I don't already have even if they are in horrible condition. Then if I ever get an upgrade, I feel so bad for the one in yucky condition that they both get to stay :lol:

Congrats, by us you need to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday as the thrift has no staff for pricing and bagging on Monday.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll find decent replacement tinsel for your princess. (Try a human salon store like Sally's or Ulta). And that is a LOVELY Steamer too. The little Remco fakie isn't too shabby either! Congrats!  :enthralled:
