The Great and Mighty 7-Headed Hydra Pony!

This is definitely the most elaborate and challenging thing I've ever done!  It's based on the mythological hydra, a dragon-like beast with multiple heads.  The body is from a styling pony and the heads are from regular g3's, so he's pretty big, just over a foot tall.  For the necks I used perm rods, which allowed me to bend them into whatever shape I wanted, then sculpted over that with apoxiesculpt.  Lots of apoxiesculpt in this one, definitely the better part of a 4lb container.  Took me about a month and a half, working on it every day, to finish it.  I guess I'll just call it Hydra pony for now, since I suck at naming things.  I plan on bringing him to the fair with me, though I'm not sure how to pack him, I'm rather paranoid at the possibility of breakage.  He will probably be available for sale there, though I have no idea how to price something so big and elaborate, so suggestions are welcome.  Or maybe a silent auction?

Oh my goodness, that much have taken a whole lot of work!

He certainly is scary, but cute none the less :D

:dropjaw: WOW!  That is just too awesome for words!  But I have a few anyways :P

Love the skin coloring and texturing, it adds to much depth!  The variety of pony heads and the larger styling sized body are perfect!
