When you're half asleep do you do crazy things?

Last night I had horrible nightmares and couldn't sleep despite being exhausted. I passed out around 4 in the morning and when I woke up I found that I had uploaded really badly drawn MLP fan art to deviantART and spammed the word "butts" on facebook.

Does anybody else find themselves doing abnormal or silly things when they're too exhausted to realize what they're doing?

I eat really massive amounts of odd things. Like 7 slices of bread, or half a box of cheerios. I've eaten a whole jar of pickles. I really hate it about myself, because when I'm on track with me eating, it totally throws me off into a tailspin.

Awwwww, it's alright. That's not something to hate yourself over. It might throw off your diet but from the looks of it it's healthy foods at least. Not junk food, so there's that.

I sometimes down entire bags of chocolate chips or dry instant noodles without realizing.

I find myself doing this ...

for example I tell my self ....  shut off the kitchen light before you go to sleep

TRANSLATES AS:  I have to shove off the kitchen life and get some sleet.

Secondly, oh golly, yes.  I'm a single mom (have been since before my son was born), and I went through some amazing bouts of sleep deprivation when my son was really small.  I wish I could remember some of the more spectacular incidents... but my memory of that time is oddly fuzzy.

I spend most of my life half asleep so.....I pretty much always do odd things.

I make witty sarcastic comments to thin air & then get annoyed that nobody was around to hear them.
On several occassions I've woken up convinced that one of my guinea-pigs has gotten into the room & fallen down the side of my bed, & it's taken ten minutes of scrabbling around to realise it was a dream.

OK, we need a bit more detail on the butt-spam!  As for me, last night I was up until 2 watching old Land of the Lost episodes on you-tube and thinking it was the funniest thing ever.  I'm blaming the cold virus that hubby brought home for that!  I also talk in my sleep.

I myself don't do weird things when I'm half-asleep aside from thinking odd thoughts. My friend, on the other hand, who is usually very quiet and reserved, goes crazy, runs around, and says things that don't make sense when she's tired!
