they are so soft, so I can't see for sure if there's anything underneath (like a company), but it doesn't look like their is.....
the only thing I do know is my parents didn't do the mail order thing, so these were bought in a store somewhere, most likely in/around Chicago (as I remember having them there when I played with my ponies in the early-mid 80s)

I have these two (pictured with Spike for comparison) and they are SO SOFT. I've asked about them in the past with no luck on ID'ing them. I played with them with my ponies as a child in the 80's. I would love to know what they are and where I can get more
