I Thought I'd Never Like...

I want to know, has there ever been a food or drink or anything that you swore up and down, left and right, backwards and forwards that you would never ever EVER like? You'd never try it, smell it, look at it.

For me, I thought I'd never like ... cream cheese.
I LOVE cheesecake, but it never occurred to me that... hey, it's actually flavored cream cheese.

I love cream cheese now. I have regular cream cheese, strawberry cream cheese and caramel cream cheese in my fridge right now. I'm going to make cheesecake with the regular cream cheese. ^_^ Some day soon. Haha.

There have been some, or I may not love them but I don't mind some. Can't think of any specifics, lol.

I've always been into trying different things but I didn't think I'd like gherkins at one stage until I learned that's what the squeaky flavour is in Burger King burgers. Now I munch them whole with cheese. Yum.

I never thought I would like whiskey when I was a kid then lived in Scotland for 5 years. Yum.

I still cannot enjoy pickled fish. Rolllmop herrings, nasty little fishes on pizza. Not my thing.

potatoes... i hate potatoes, I dont count french fries and potato chips though.. xD but like mashed/baked potatoes.. nope, never have never will! UNTIL I met a friend at Bobevens for breakfast xD accidentally ordered there "home fries" i misunderstood and thought they were friend fries, so I was a little disappointed when I saw a pile of hash on my plate lol.

however halfway through my meal i realized they smelled really good, so I tried a bite and o.o wow really good! so they are my only other potato exception :p Still hate mashed potatoes and normal baked potatoes though. xD

I am not sure what happened. Although it's not all pickles or anything, and I have a limit... but I really hated them up until a couple years ago.

I never thought I'd like Spam. I mean come on canned meat product? YUK!
And then one day my boyfriend was making fried Spam sandwiches and I liked the way they smelled so I took a little taste and now I'm hooked.

Truevamp, my mom makes this really awesome casserole with hash potatoes. It's sooo delicious, but sooo buttery and oily. And cheesey. And I really want some now. ^_^

I still hate mustard. And hot dogs. I will get physically sick at the scent of mustard.

Catfish..
My stepdad would catch them and prepare them.
He's actually a good cook, so he would make home-made hush puppies and stuff too.
One day he and my mom tricked me into thinking the catfish was a hush puppy...

Sushi and avocado. I used to hate them when I was in my early teens. Now I can't get enough of either!

Anyone have something that they used to love but can't stand now? For me, it's cucumbers, ribs, and cheesecake. Yuck!

For a while there, it was fish sticks. I HATED fish sticks.

But... now I'm back to loving them again. Does that count?

Asparagus. The problem was that I'd never had FRESH asparagus.   Yummmmm.

This is not so easy.  As a childI didn't like beetroot, but now sometimes quite like. For me it was rather the reverse. Fish I liked as a child, for example, like (fish fingers), but now I feel sick when I think of fish

Bell peppers. I couldn't even pick them off a pizza because the flavor they left behind was enough to make me go ick.

Now I love 'em and eat them all the time. I even made stuffed veggie peppers a while back and they were so amazing! I've been meaning to make them again.

That boy only eats Cheetos, breaksticks, waffles.... Oh, Cheezits. Ice pops. Haha.
