Yeah, the amount showing up is weird. Maybe only 1008 will have the SDCC sticker on them? xD

I just hope my Bubbles doesn't have any flaws - I saw a post several pages ago about one with factory glue all over her.

Now THAT would certainly explain it! The 'sdcc exclusives' could be only the ones marked exclusive!

I think people getting them from Amazon do have the stickers. So it seems all these orders are the exclusives. Maybe they just don't plan on having a bunch at the con. Maybe it saves them a headach.

I think the numbers are right- it wouldn't make sense for them to make up a false number. Agree with the above post- maybe they have just a few at the con (or maybe none).

Well Popcultcha always has SDCC exclusives, and they're currently 'in stock' so they must have a certain number put aside before the con, not just leftovers.
For us poor Aussies who have no hope of getting to ComicCon I guess, Popcultcha is the best lol

I just ordered Bubbles/Muffin this morning. I was so excited, wondering if I should have gotten Rainbow Dash too. ;P

My theory as to why the didn't sell out so incredibly fast is that these two aren't Funko's only exclusives for SDCC, the POP ponies that are metallic are the exclusives. These are a new type of exclusive... a limited number online sale.

Also, I think they aren't as popular because they are glittery and clear. I've seen a lot of threads out there (not here) were opinions were voiced that they didn't like the glitter and clear. I love it, come on, its so sparkly!!!

I was wondering that. Maybe they intended these to be their exclusive then had a better idea and decided they had too many exclusives for the con itself?

Weirdly, I don't like the other glitter variations much but I saw someone's Dash photos, and looked up some for Dizzy, and they're really pretty <3

They are not exclusives to SDCC - they are advance sales.

The metallic POPs are exclusive to Gemini and to ToyWiz.

With Funko its always possible that the exclusively is timed however. Neither Gemini or ToyWiz are going to admit if thats the case or not because of course they want you to buy from them. But all the other "exclusive" Funko releases have turned out to simply be period exclusivity. So maybe you could have luck in the future?
