Funko SDCC Rainbow Dash on Amazon? and Bubbles! *POOF* Gone!

I still haven't heard back from Funko. I'm guessing they'll just ignore my email since I'm asking about a pony that no one's supposed to have until next month. Maybe if I contact them again after SDCC, they'll answer me. If they don't, then I guess I'll just assume that they have horrible customer service.

I think it's a long shot asking for a replacement on a pony that was a super limited release and which should not have even been for sale in the first place.  Also- all of the Grey ponies seem to have some glue issues- so you are also not likely to get yours swapped out for a perfect one if that is your aim?

The most I think you could expect would be a refund- and I would probably advise selling it or trading it to someone who wants the pony pretty badly and doesn't mind the quality issues.

No, I didn't ask them for a replacement. I don't want a replacement, actually. I just want to know what I can use to remove the glue without harming the vinyl. Since I know I won't be able to get another, I don't want to risk using something like acetone and have it melt the vinyl or something. I figured they'd know more about the materials they use to make the figures and would be able to answer that.

Not sure how you tried to reach them but the best way may be to message them on facebook.

I just emailed them at the address listed under the contact section of their official site. I don't have a facebook account (believe it or not, some people don't) so that's not an option for me.

I don't have a facebook account either. I just knew that some other folks on the funko boards had success going that route and wanted to suggest it.

Anyone know what the going price for Drama Pony is right now? I'm not sure if I want to get her now before she inflates or just wait until I have enough money where I'd really feel comfortable buying her.

There's completed listings at $80 and $65.... and there's bidding going on on one of them for $76 with a day and a half left. Most people seem to be selling them in sets with Rainbow Dash.

Drama/Ditsy pony has sold for  $65 and $75 by itself;  RD $70, $70 and $78.
There have been four sets of 2 ponies- for $149, $149, $150, $157

Current/ongoing auctions:
Sets: 2 BINS for $150, one open bid at $51.5 with 5 days left
Single auctions for Ditzy (with many days left) $39, $30, $76
Single auctions for RD (with days left) $57, $30

Oh I don't think they will be widely available since there was only 1008 of each made.  I'm guessing left overs- if any, will be on Amazon at the time of the Con or shortly thereafter and so maybe some more people will manage to score them at $14 a pop.  Then the price might get high (unless they are really unpopular- which seems just a bit unlikely I guess) 

I seem to recall the 2012 Hasbro SDCC pony steadily increasing in price and then hovering around $100/$150 ever since.

Come to think of it, I'm not even sure I own the regular Rainbow Dash funko... lol I have everyone else and their variations but, I don't think I have Rainbow Dash.

Are we sure they only made 1008 of them?  Seems crazy they are up again.  Seems too easy!
