Well!  There IS some progress compared to the first prototype shots we got.

Considering none of those outfits match the movie outfits (either everyday wear or ball dresses at the end), they are still working on them, and these may be outdated. (I REALLY hope they take a step back on makeup - the eye designs in the movie are simple and they look fine.)

I mean really... what's up with Sunset Shimmer's monster eyebrows?

I agree with what many people have said regarding these. They just feel cheap and considering that they will probably be selling for $10 - $15 a piece, I don't see how they are worth it. I do think that the preschoolers and younger elementary may go for them as they appear to be made for a much younger audience than what currently collects FIM/MLP. As far something positive: ummm...the hair brush is very unique.

Seriously people, how is that a bunch of little ponies mutate on these extremely skiny awful dolls? I don't want to offend anyone but this thing of seeing ponies as barbie dolls sucks to me. They are simply taking all the original touch from the mlp series and turning them just in another teenager/girly passenger fashion. Extremely dissapointed from hasbro I am

Eh ... I like them, but I was really hoping that they wouldn't have "pony ears" but maybe like a head band accessory like how they have them in the movie. I too, am sadden that these dolls are not ball jointed. That being said, I think its really cute to have their cutie marks on their cheeks! (but would have also liked it if they were printed on their clothes) Their hair looks really nice, and I like their accessories! I'll pick up at least one of them, I'm excited for the movie, since it looks like a unique story line, so I eager to see some merchandise to go with it!

Fail Hasbroken, epic fail! 

They remind me of those fairy Barbies from a few years ago that had molded on tops and pink, blue or purple skin.  It's something about those vacant smiles... I hate smiling fashion dolls because it never looks quite right.
 

Oh well, at least I'll have more money to buy actual ponies and more nicely made dolls.

The cheap McDonalds happy meal ponies have more.... "soul" then this. I mean, yeah its not for my demographic and I already have no interest in dolls, but that doesn't mean I can't see when something looks bad. I can see easily that Monster High is the superior product.
