They're not as bad as they could have been, but still don't do much for me.  Probably good, since I really only need to collect one kind of doll at a time.    BJDs already suckered all my pony money, can't afford to love another line anyway.

Eeergh, the peg "feet" have sealed the No deal for me too I'd so much rather lose doll shoes than whole doll feet 

Combine that with the molded tops, omnipresent wing holes, rattails, vacant stares, lack of articulation, cheap clothes... I am so disappoint. 

I'll cave and get the relatively-more-articulated/deluxe Fluttershy if I see her for cheap, but otherwise...

I dunno.... I know they're getting a lot of hate here, but I really love them, even the basic dolls.... I don't regret my purchases at all.

They are cute, and I'm happy for you dxgirly. As much as I hate to say this.... I know I'll end up with Sunset Shimmer and therefore Twilight Sparkle.

Are the tops molded on or can they be taken off? I really hate molded on clothes (seems like all the basic Disney Princess dolls have molded on clothes! Arrrg!!) And I don't really like the boots, but I still really like the dolls. I'm unsure if I'll keep mine MIB or open them and display them with their pony pals, hmm. Almost all my dolls are MIB, but I might have to take these out because the doll by that FS Pinkie is too cute

Hey that isn't nice. It's one thing for them not to be your cup of tea and for you not to buy them but another for you to not want the people who like them to be able to have them. I hope they at least last long enough to get some boys or maybe even everyone's favorite muffin munching pony.

I agree, I hope they go well so I can have the chance to get them all. I just hope that everyone who DOESN'T like them leaves them all for me so I can buy them!

Oh my, I don't recall saying anything about "not wanting people to have them".  Don't be offended by something that wasn't even said.  If you like them then please buy them and collect them, suum cuique.

I should have clarified better in my earlier post but I wish Hasbro would have spent more energy/time/money into actual ponies, not dolls trying to compete with Monster High/Bratz.

I know you didn't say those exact words but if the dolls flop that is exactly what will happen. Anyways I am sure the dolls are not to blame for the lack of new pony characters since it is probably different teams working on them. I actually imagine it is the same team that was designing the Strawberry Shortcake dolls since Hasbro no longer has that license.
