What are these things ? (Pic heavy)

okay so I just found these key chains? in a box..
does anyone have an idea what they are? and how much they would be worth?
I think they're from Portugal. (I'm not sure tho, the letters on their legs are very small!:lookround: )

Nice! They are from Portugal and I think they sell for around $15-$20 but since these are MIP they might be worth a touch more Hathorcat or LadyG are most likely to be able to tell you better xx

They are exactly what you described - Portuguese key chains although they were also sold as pendants with the metal key chain exchanged for a coloured string.

I dont think I have ever seen the key chain versions MIP before. Out of curiosity are the bags connected? I wonder if they were originally sold on strips and you tore off and purchased the one at the bottom? Or they were simply supplied to retailers on a strip and they could then sell as they preferred.

LadyG and Sebby are much more knowledgeable than me on these. But I think putting a price on something we havent seen before could be very hard - if you are selling I would think taking offers would be your best bet for pricing accuracy.

They are indeed Portuguese and as said above they come as both keychains and necklaces. I have seen the keychains packaged like this before, but the necklaces were on card. Makes me wonder if the keychains were the modified versions, a bit like withe the comics spain figures.

Value does vary depending on which ones, but I agree with $15-20 for these two with Peachy at the lower end an Pinwheel at the higher. There have been some on ebay recently, but they are very overpriced and haven't sold in a long time.

If you do find more, it would be very interesting to see which ones! The earth, pegasi and rainbow tend to be the more common ones. Sea ponies (especially the adults) are harder to find and therefore more valuable.
