Kingdom Hearts III Announced!

I REALLY need to catch up.  I'm still playing BBS.  BUT, when I play these games, I play them to completion, so sometimes it's difficult forcing yourself to play the same exact game 2 or 3 times to collect every little thing

I'm glad I'm behind though.  Saves me a little bit of money in the long run.  Cheaper systems (still need to buy a 3DS   Do you all have ANY idea how many different platforms I've had to buy to get my KH fix?)

I feel your pain. I bought a PSP for BBS, and a 3DS for DDD. (And for Professor Layton and Ace Attorney 5. ) I'll grumble about it, but I'll upgrade to a PS4 for KH3 if I must.

I had promised myself that I wouldn't be getting any of the new gen consoles.  Then KH3 is announced.  I probably won't be getting it at release (I am a poor college student!) but I am definitely getting a PS4.  With the XBox One debacle, I don't mind too much since I will be supporting used games, no DRM, etc. as well as getting KH3!

SOOOO excited for this... I have actually started to replay KH I to be followed by KH II again... And now since Disney has procured Marvel AND Star Wars Im wondering if they are going to include these in the game! Squeeeee! So excited!

As long as it's not exclusively for the freaking PSP like all the others that've come after KH II, I will allow myself to get excited.

I'm also looking forwards to playing the HD remix of KH1 and 1.5 in anticipation for the new game!

With Disney's acquisition of Marvel, Lucasfilm and Studio Ghibli since KHII came out... I am really hoping that there will be some more exciting worlds in this one. We don't need any more Olympus Coliseum!

I've barely used my PS3 for games and never finished KHII (though I LOVE the original) so I don't think I'll proceed to PS4 right away, but if Marvel or Star Wars worlds were in it I would seriously have to rethink that.
