Not just you thinking/seeing that. She and Rarity get much less merchandise compared to the other 4 mane ponies, and AJ certainly gets the least amount. ;_;

Twilight Sparkle is the cutest. But I am saddened by the lack of Rarity and Applejack. Can't wait to see them in stores.

Rarity is a great pony, and so is Applejack. I'm sad to see my favorite pony being left out once again.

I have no interest in them, but I love the way Twilight's horn is peeking through her hair instead of just being slapped on top of it.

This. I'm sure they're just splitting up the mane 6 and the rest will be in the next wave. I don't think they're being left out or forgotten, you just gotta be more patient (as annoying as that can be).

I agree the catalogue pictures looked cuter. The way they did the muzzles just didn't turn out right at all; poor Pony's looks almost like a bird beak. DJ's horn looks weirdly narrow/small too, doesn't it? They might have squared the cheeks off a little bit too much as well, rather than having the bottoms of their faces slightly rounded like in the pictures. They're not horrifyingly hideous, but I won't be getting any and I was really hoping to like these. I don't think their bodies turned out bad, but I'm not a fan of how obvious the logo is on their foot. I would've rather they stuck that on the bottom where you can't see it.

I really like how well the style goes with the baby pony style of the show, but I have to say these turned out looking more like cheap bobble-heads than what I was expecting. I think Twilight and Rainbow probably turned out the best in this batch. I was expecting to like DJ the best, but they really did something different with her... it looks like she's got a sock puppet mouth. And I think I was expecting her glasses to have a gradient.

No doubt they will get a release eventually, but they could certainly make a wave out of other significant characters (the princesses, villains, CMC, Shining Armor, Apple Family, the Cakes... these characters transcend background pony status) so I don't think that's the issue. They're starting off with six, not staggering the releases like Funrise, and even Funrise waited until all the mane six were released before adding background ponies. It's a sales thing though, this will get them more money because unfortunately Rarity and AJ are the least popular of the mane six ponies with the crowd they're targeting (from what I've been told??) so they're more likely to snap up fan favourites, but it's still sad to see two of the show's heroines get shoved aside because some background characters with hardly any screentime between them are more popular. I think that's why people are complaining.

I understand POP! is an acquired taste so I am seeing that they are POP! in style...

I said I would try and reserve judgement until I saw them and just no for me...just NO!

Every time I see something new for G4, I feel that they look less and less like ponies...
