Weh...on second thought. $50 is a wee bit too much now that I remember that the Funko one is going to be released. Maybe I'll try to find her secondhand on eBay later...but I suppose I don't have to rush.

It's actually pretty cool, but for the 30th anniversary I would have preferred something a little more representative of the whole line.

I like it enough (wouldn't pay $50 for her if not part of ticket package, but am glad to have another sparkly thing, including a box (!?!?!) that lights up--probably the ballroom glitter ball) but I agree with sebby6. This is thirty years... Let's reflect the whole journey! I  guess since she's a party pony, she represents celebration.

ETA: the 25th anniversary pony, though, is my least favorite of the art ponies... Have to say I like DJ better than that one, too.

I like her figure (although I'm not really bothered by her as a character) but I won't be buying this. I don't know what it is but it's not really making me 'wow'.

Sadly though.... with that price I don't think I'll be getting her. I'll probably just be grabbing the Funko version when it comes out, like most people.

Also, really sad that the SDCC and the MLPF are getting lumped together now, especially since the interests for each group varies so much, we're really getting the short end of the stick here...

I like her ~ I am a sucker for glitter and crystals though. I really wish last years had molded hair, glitter, and crystals. *sad*

That be said, I won't be getting one for myself-- I'm super picky about what goes in my collection.  I WILL be on the hunt for one for my dear friend though. (: Cuz she's head over heals for this.

I do feel sorry for others if she is the fair pony... TBH, I think she makes a good SDCC pony. Although I DO think it's kind of weird, seeing as Funko puts out a perfectly good enough VS.

I think she is pretty-  but I really really wish Hasbro had thrown the money they spent on the stupid rhinestones and molded hair and tail-  into a more exciting pony.  Like one we weren't already going to get from Funko for $12 in August.   

I do still want her though.  I can't resist exclusive ponies.  But if she is much over $50, I guess I'll just dunk my Funko DJ into some glitter and call it a day.
