At TRU this morning they had the talking Life in the Dreamhouse Raquelle and Barbie. They also had the double pack with Barbie + Midge, but no single packs yet

They look pretty  sorry I didn't grab a piccy, I was too excited over Twyla to focus ><

My Target is now carrying the single Barbie, Raquelle, and Teresa and the talking Barbie and Raquelle.

I can't wait for Midge! I'm really looking forward to seeing her in person.

I found almost all the single packs at my Target today. They had 8 Barbies, 2 Raquelle, 2 Midge, 1 Summer & 1 Teresa. So it makes me wonder if the "friends" will be short packed. I happened to go into another Target later in the day in a city a few towns over and they only had 6 Barbie's and no friends on the shelf.

For me locally, Target seems to be the only one carrying them so far. (and if you were curious, yes, I couldn't help myself and bought 1 of each of the friends.) That being said though, I did notice two different lipstick shades on the Raquelle dolls. One was very shimmery and a deeper purplish/pinkish color, and the one I bought had more of a cooler pink shade of lipstick without the shimmer.

I have not opened them yet, but their heads do look slightly bigger than my other fashionista dolls. Here are close ups in box.

TRU has one of their sales on Barbie going on this week: Buy 1, get one 40% off. Even with their higher markup, it still saves about $5 if you were planning on picking up two of these dolls anyway.

I'd love to see one of these dolls naked so I can get a look at the articulation points.
Also my stores need to hurry up and get these.

I would like to see this too. But I am also interested in the different skintones. Apparently Teresa is darker than barbie.

These still haven't hit Australia (if they ever do) but I've got some on the way via a friend. And then I realised amazon was selling them! When I'd looked earlier there were only other sellers selling then via amazon and they weren't shipping to Australia - I buy them for way too much via Barbie Collector and of course amazon has them!

At least I have some on the way though. I'd love a second Midge to customise into her vintage look! Not sure if I'm clever enough to make her black and white but I could at least give her a flip and make her a Friday Night Date outfit :)

And WildLace your girls are beautiful! And happy (belated?) birthday :)
