I'm with you here, Rhini. I am definitely still going to try, and I will do my best.  I don't expect to win, but that's not why I'm entering anyway.  I want to do this because, like kissthethunder says, Shen totally deserves it, and because it sounds like fun -- not to mention a great chance to brush-up on my rusty drawing skills!

There are lots of prizes to be won too o.o And there's no sure fire way I'll win either, still half a month to go and a lot could happen! Besides, she said she'll be judging on a more personal level, didn't she?

Some people may have more talent at drawing than others, but I'm not really looking for who can draw the best. I'm looking for detail and effort.

Guys, you're all so amazing! Don't worry about about drawing talent! My mom and sister are going to be the judges and they actually have totally different tastes so it's going to be a bit of a challenge My sister prefers digitally colored art and my mom prefers colored pencils. It's going to be hard to get them to agree on the winner I really have no idea who will win And remember, it's all about the detail and EFFORT! I love when artists put their heart, soul, and time into it! I drew something for a contest that took 35 hours to draw, ink, and color. The time I took paid off and I won first place so just a little effort goes a long way!

I'm hoping the contest inspires people to draw if they haven't in a while
