I've got a rough sketch going but I have to tell you, it's very similar to yours.  It is also a fairytale of sorts and will have a boy and a girl in it.  Perhaps even a book.  It is totally unintentional, of course... I didn't realize how similar it was until I started sketching it out.  I can come up with something else entirely if you prefer. 

I think you should go with your original plan! Coincidences are just that. I'm interested what you're working on now!

Thanks.  I just wanted to check with you first because it could definitely seem copycat instead of coincidence.  Glad you're okay with it 'cause I'm totally excited about my idea. If it helps at all, the style of pony will be completely different, as will the hair.  And don't worry, I stink at drawing hair.

I worked on this over the course of three days.

Being a mom, I find there is nothing more girly than mother daughter spa time. Doing nails, doing hair, doing makeup <3 This is my entry for the girly contest. I sure hope it does well, I want that gypsy so much

I love the shading, that she's using her magic to lift the bow, the details on the wings, and I have a MLP barrette just like that one! You even added the little indentation things on their legs like G1s have And I see Baby Milky Way's little tooth!

kissthethunder, did you do that all by hand, or was some of it done using a computer?  It's incredible!  My drawings always look so stiff and posed... I wish I could create fluid movement like that.  I am loving all of this originality!

It's not so much talent as it is effort. The picture took me three days to complete. <3 I'm so glad you like my art though!!!
