Cyborg Pinkie Pie, a Sing & Dance Custom! *Now with video!

I've always been kinda freaked out by the sing & dance Pinkie Pie.  Something about the way it moves its head and mouth is disconcerting.  So when I found one at a thrift store for $3, the natural course of action was to make it even more disturbing.  I wanted to give it a look like an old robot that's been sitting in the rain and rusting for many years, yet is somehow still functional.  I painted her base coat in silver and then used an antiquing set to give her the rusty look.  I cut out some holes in her body, to look like places where the metal had rusted away.  They also reveal some of her inner mechanics, to which I added some computer chips and wires to give her more of that robotic feel.  I did intentionally leave some pink, just to show her former glory.  Most importantly, she's still fully functional.  Really, though, she's much creepier when she's talking and singing (and she never shuts up!).  Unfortunately I don't think I can post a video at the arena.  I will be bringing her to the fair, however, for everyone's enjoyment/terror.

Cool idea! I actually had no idea there was a singing and dancing Pinkie!  She definitely is better as a rusty robot.

That's awesome and creepy . . . let's go with awesomely creepy. My daughter has one of those, she LOVES it and I can't figure out how it always manages to be under my feet so I kick it's buttons.
