I play on the EU Bronzebeard server with a N.Elf Druid.

No interest at all in WoW here.  However, I am still enjoying both Guild Wars 2 and Star Trek Online.

I've never played WoW, but I would like to try since everyone I know did at least for a bit I always feel left out lol
btw, do you play on official or pirate private servers? One reason I never played is the subscription...

Well, I actually tried the pirate servers after I stopped paying, but then I felt that I just don't feel like starting all over again
Other than that, I did like the private servers, they were working pretty well, and you get to choose which expansion etc you want to play ^^

I've been playing on both, but you cant really compare them. Its fun to play on private server once in a while, but its not the same thing. The whole idea of wow is to achieve stuff. Achievements, mounts, gear.. And its just not the same if you are playing on a private realm where usually at least some people will cheat.

I'm on an official server - Eredar (EU) - which is practically dead. We have 90% horde, 10% alliance and as it's an PVP server...well, you can imagine what that means.

Sounds like my kinda server! Sadly, I don't pvp, but only play on pvp servers. >< Lol.  My chances of being ganked would be lowered on there.

I played WoW once :/ i bought it and didnt realize you had to continue paying for it, that instantly made me lost interest and then i felt kinda depressed about wasting the already $60 lol, I just think the sub price is outrageous for WoW lol but thats just me.

this was also literally weeks before they decided to let you play for free up to like level 20 or something? xD that felt like a low blow haha.

I play Guildwars 2 which I love lol, and not just because its sub free xD

I had a friend back in high school who played WoW. I remember watching him play it. I liked it at first when he showed it to me, but when he told me that it took you having to pay each month to stay on in I lost interest in it. I thought was ridiculous that you have to pay a monthly fee to stay on WoW.

I all but live in WoW ;P  I have something like 8 level 90s.  A good chunk of them are pretty well geared for living on a dead server too.  I mostly play alliance cause thats where I made most of my friends, but I do have a horde or two floating around.

I honestly dont mind the sub fee either.  It works out to about $0.50 a day to play, which in the grand scheme of things isnt that bad of a value.  Some people spend nearly that much on cigarettes a day! (for example)

havent played sence cata unforatly havent had the money for the new expantion and woth the way my old account was set up haveing to do with an ex i dought i'll get my 85s back as my account was connected to his even though it was all my toons

I love WoW but had to back off of it. I used to play way to much and while it wasn't causing real life problems it bothered me. So when Pandaland came out I actually dipped for a bit and finally came back due to the new lore quests. (I'm not even Horde but dem Trolls. I faction changed my hunter again so I could do this quest line.) Though I am still obsessed with the lore of the world and am totally going to Blizzcon this Nov. So excited for all the swag.

Exactly! I dont think the fee is bad. People have different hobbies, some pay for riding lessons, I pay for playing WoW. 

I just migrated from Stormreaver EU to Grim Batol EU. I couldn't resist because all character services are -50% this week. Finally I can say goodbye to the dead server!
