Gettng villagers to move is hard! I think the two easiest ways are to beat them up a lot and never talk to them, because it seems that if they get a chance to tell you they're moving, then no matter what response you give, they'll end up staying. The other way is to find someone who wants them. They can visit and send your villager some letters and talk to them a lot and build a friendship. Then the villager will likely move to their town.

i see. i had a villager who decided to move on his own and i didnt stop him and he went....

And i am getting a "new" neighbor: Penelope. Heh, i actually got her in move in a few days ago from the campsite, and wish Rory moving out a few days ago, I am happy to have her in instead. xD
I wonder if that means she now counts as my ninth villager and I can grab another person from the campsite whenever another one shows up?

My town just started raining a few minutes ago. xD i know a few weeks ago, it rained pretty much for five days straight.  O.o

Kyle just suggested another public works to me - Stonehenge! xD

Also, Katrina is in my town, if anyone would like to go to visit her in a few hours.

i'm a stupid.

so i time travelled to see what it'll be like in a few months (FIY its STILL raining in september)
and all my pretty flowers around my house have died and my town is covered in weeds and i didn't like it and now i can't go back........

i'm genuinely depressed now.......

the upside is that Hans moved away. but now i'm stuck with an ugly pink-roses-less, bedhead save file..... ;__; didnt think about doing the beautiful ordinance before doing it.... *sniffle*

oh no, sorry to hear that! ;_; Assuming you hadn't saved the game, even if you were to exit out the game without saving, your town still would look like that?
