When do you get the dream house? That' is something I am VERY much looking forward to. I'd like to visit people from other parts of the world, even if I cannot speak their language. Someone on another forum said they visited a Japanese player's town and it was set up so beautifully.

you mean dream suite? A week after you finish your first public works project (and have visited another town via online), you walk into the town hall and see Isabelle asleep. Go talk to her, and she'll mention the Dream Suite being suggested by a villager. Then, you can add it to your public works project, and make it into a project. Get the bells for it ( the gyroid will be in the train station), then the next day, Dream Suite.

Whenever you unlock it, i recommend visiting the town called Aika. It's certainly something else, and a bit creepy, but well worth a visit. The person went all out on the town by decorating it.

I never really can have visitors and visit anyone. Seems like everyone is always on when I am working (I work 6pm-6am). When I get home in the morning I'm usually the only friend online.

But tomorrow Nooklings should be upgraded and the shoe store is in the making. I really want Shampoodle though. I wanna change my hair to light blue.

Yeah I seem to have odd timing too.....but ditto on Nooklings being upgraded and shoe store going up!! Very very exciting and about time!  I want a shampoodles too  haha My hair is fine, but I want a fun color

My Kicks was open today! YAY!!! So I've got the 2nd T&T upgrade (Convience store) and I just started the Dream Suite project.

Looks like my Island's going to have a lot of visitations - I have my second floor and basement all paid off, working in rooms now. My basement feels tiny still, though.

Finding what furniture sets I want as I go - Alpine, Ranch, Cabin, Wood Modern, Mermaid, Balloon ...

So much fun! I've taken to carrying my 3DS everywhere, and I've street passed a few strangers now, which is awesome.

I love street passing people! It's so fun. Bad thing is it's hard to fit my XL in my pocket. I have dropped it a few times now. :/ I actually chipped a tiny mark in the blue paint and I lost my stylus and had to order two new ones from Nintendo.

I finally am working on getting my dream suite!

I am really irritated right now. My 3DS keeps me company at work. I forgot to charge it and it only has half its battery power. I still have eight hours left of my shift and once the battery gets halfway, it drains fast. I'm going to be bored most of the night.

You have to have the QR machine in Able's shop.
To get it, talk to Sable every day for 7 days, then you use the sewing machine to take pictures of the QR codes with your 3DS' camera.

I've been taking a ton off Tumblr, and I even got a Vanellope cosplay for my character to wear when I hopefully (most likely) streetpass with people at Otakon! ^w^


Also, sorry I've been away from the thread guys. I kind of vanished a bit because of work and some other things. I'll probably stop by some people's towns tomorrow/Monday.

Anybody experience grass wear yet? I need to look closer, but I don't think I have. I tend to have random paths (I think).
I heard laying down a pattern (to make a pathway) keeps it from doing that, but I don't have the patience for that. It took long enough to do my 'town square' and that keeps getting erased when Redd comes to town.

Does it wear off in a path or does it wear off in patches, because I think I might have patches of it. It doesn't look bad though.
I run a lot too. DX I just try to be super careful around my flowers.

I think I'm getting grass wear, but I'm not 100% sure because I never paid that much attention to it when I first started... there's some dirt patches though and one or two paths... Needless to say, I haven't been running much anymore lol

O: I run all the time, I can't stand walking.

I do however walk in other people's towns... just because, I read running there will wear their towns down.

I hear planting flowers in the dirt spots might encourage grass growth? (ung, why no grass seed?)
