What non-pony stuff do you collect?

I'm always on the lookout for certain WOTC Pokémon playing cards up to the Neo Destiny expansion, because this is where I originally stopped playing. I build decks from time to time and persuade my sister to play against me. Trust me, she's a worthy opponent. Also, I have some FashionStar Fillies and am looking for some more.

I have a very random collection of Imperial German military and patriotic items, mainly books and propaganda postcards. Even so, I want to insist that I'm a good person This started out as picking up references for comicking purposes, but the stuff has just... accumulated over the years. Before anyone asks, no spiked helmets. If you ask me, they're pretty stupid. And pricey. TBH a lot of the books are useless and could go. I have no interest in hoarding 100-year-old paper just because. I'd love some outrageous kitsch objects featuring Germania the national personification, though. Or any outrageous kitsch objects, for that matter. If I could afford it, I'd surely collect orders and decorations, especially Franco-Prussian War ones, but money is an issue.

Other than that, I don't count books, comics etc. as a collection, even though I have a lot of those. I acquire just the ones I know I'll read more than once.

Besides My little Pony, I collect Care Bears stuff. Sylvanian Families and the animals of farthing wood.
But my main collection is the pony collection.

A whole bunch of stuff - most aren't serious collections, just stuff that has accumulated over time, or things I only pick up once in a while if it really catches my eye.

The most active collections are my books - trying to finish the Animorphs, Baby-Sitters Club, and the VC Andrews books. (hubby has his collections too - we each have a shelf, and then a combined 4 storage tubs of more books - we both love our books)

My other collections are "anything bunny", LPS (primarily bunnies, a couple other really neat ones), birds/horses/dolphins, plushies, and so on.

Antique books, especially reference books:  medical texts, history/geography (I have an amazing book from the 1830's that describes Canada as populated by savages and French), cookbooks, auto repair, carpentry, and social behavior.

lps, magic diaper babies, puppy surprise, cupcakes, fairy winkles, care pares, pj sparkles, cabbage patch kids, magic nursery, water babies, lil misses, cherry merry muffin, lil secrets, polly pockets and so on just what runs my way and is cute *gg* except the mdbs this stuff is in my little ones room and well loved (altough she loves the mdbs too) and i think of toy story where the old toys are so happy to be played with

apparently I "collect" quite a few things without realizing it such as makeup, dvd's, and nailpolish.... but with that being said things I consider collections would be.

Dachshunds (anything with them on it)
Camels (same thing)
Monster high (only abbey and operetta)
Lisa Frank (anything and everything)

I also have collections of Vintage Littlest Pet Shop, Little Pretties, Care Bears, Magic Nursery Pets, Sweetie Pups, Puppy Surprise, Stuffed animals of any kind

I'm thinking about starting to collect Polly Pockets, Lady Lovely Locks, Moondreamers, and My little kitty, puppy, bunny. I'm kind of reluctant to start collecting anything else though. I'm kind of scared of where this might lead 

I also like to buy books and almost any nail polish i see

I wish I could find some of these. I remember having some of those Sanrio ones that had compartments that would pop out.  There we special compartments for an eraser, paper, pencil sharpener.

I have "collected" hand painted yarn for a few years - i dont knit! But mum does and I love nanaknits on my girls unfortunatly shes not too well, so im going to have to sell lots as I cant just hoard it...
