Hmm.  Those look like the same face mold to me.  I usually don't mind and agree that a faceup can do wonders.  I love my Zillaz after all and they have the same mold.  But...this is Mattel and I expect more from them.  Having said that they are lovely and Raven is really, really pretty.  The packaging is super lovely as well.

I hope Cupid keeps the Ghoulia mold though and not this round, blander mold.

Hmm I think I still have to see them in person to decide. I'm kind of disappointed they don't really have much of a face up. I really liked raven queen's make up in the videos.

And they both look like the same head mold to me!

I feel the same way. The artwork is just stunning, but I still love them! The shelf that holds all my non-Cleo and Lagoona MH dolls will be cleared for them since I'm selling those dolls.

Yeah, pretty sure I was wrong, they definitely do look like the same face molds! Buuut I'm totally okay with it as I LOVE that face, ohmygosh. Beeeautiful! And the boxes! And the key hairbrushes! And the MH bodies/articulation! And and and

I'm wondering if those are prototypes? Raven's face mold looks very similar to Draculaura's, can't fully tell with Apple from that angle. I do hope that all the girls won't have the exact same mold. Though they may do like Monster High did and start off a lot more similar and get more diverse with molds if the line does well.

I am officially in love. From the looks of the two we've seen, I think I actually like these dolls BETTER than MH. I am very impressed. Apple is simply adorable, too.

Briar Beauty (Sleeping Beauty), Ashlyn Ella (Cinderella), Queen of Hearts/Red Queen (No official name for her yet), Blondie Locks (Goldilocks), Cedar Wood (Pinocchio), C.A. Cupid, Madeline "Maddy"  Hatter (Mad Hatter) and Cerise Hood (Red Riding Hood).

There is a copyright for the name "Lizzie Hearts," so that is probably the red queen girl.

Is anyone else bummed that Cupid looks 'prettified' for this?  I loved her bone wings and her elegantly creepy design.  I do like the idea that she might 'change' when moving from world to world.  I am excited by new Cupid dolls but not if they're the usual Barbie/pink/girly.  I think the idea is cute but I miss the diverse looks of the MH faces.  The Big Bad Wolf girl is cool though...and might make a great friend for Howleen..  It will be interesting to see how these do against MH, little girls love fairy tales/princess stuff so this line has the chance to become even more popular than MH.  I think I'll always prefer MH though, I just love my horror and monsters too much...

I'm sad that they prettified Cupid, but not surprised.  This doll line seems aimed at the kind of girly girls that think Monster High is too creepy, or the parents who don't like the idea of monsters and bones for their little girls.

Yeah, the artwork gave me really high hopes too, and from this first look I'm really disappointed in the dolls...  The outfits aren't even compelling to get for my Monster High dolls.

I really didn't think we'd get to see the dolls themselves so early! Eee, I'm just so in love with them, I keep going back to look at the pics again! I think I love them on par with MH, just in a different way... they appeal to my sweet 'n fluffy side while MH satisfies my weird 'n creepy side 

I seriously hope we get to see more of the main characters' dolls soon! Apple and Raven are gorgeous, but I NEED to see Maddie and Cerise
