Oh my gosh, I just watched the three shows on their youtube site, and I'm already in love with Ever After High. I have to confess I was one of those moms that at first thought MH was creepy, but then the cleverness of the design and the cuteness of the dolls out of packaging grew on me. Fairy tale dolls, on the other hand, I would have no hesitation to buy for my daughter! (and me! )

FINALLY got caught up!

I've only been trying to catch up with you guys since the big reveal   Holy cow you guys are fast!

I'm not really familiar with Swan Lake, but I love the idea of having two opposite characters a la the Werecat twins   One darker, one lighter.

....but I think we are forgeting the possiblity that Mattel might be using the story of the Ugly Duckling   Now THAT story I know!  And maybe the target audience would know that story a bit better too.

I much prefer the Swan Lake ideas you guys are throwing out there though

Noooot sure about gods.  Gods belong to mythology - which is very close I agree, but they're not considered fairytales.

(I think Cupid just gets a free pass because it's part of pop culture not, and usually seen or referenced outside mythological setting)

I'm really excited for these dolls! I don't want to throw judgement around based on that one blurry photo several pages back, but I do hope the actual dolls look better than that and have their own individual face molds.

I really love this, especially more Maddie, Kitty, and Lizzie! I also like how Baba Yaga made an appearance; I hope this means they're going to branch out into other stories a bit more.
