I haven't seen the said videos yet, but from the picture, it's nice to see that Cupid decided to replace her bone/spine/rib cage wigs for actual feathered ones.

About cupid, I wonder if when a person change from the world of MH to EAH world and vise versa  they change their clothes and some of their body parts? like when you go to differnt worlds in kingdom hearths games
 

OMG!! that is so awesome!!  I hope they lauch at nearly the same time as Hasbro EG so Hasbro would lear is not as easy to copy MH as they thought  now they will have another stone in their shoe.

Curse you Mattel....for being so awesone;).  You already have a huge chunk of my money...now you want the rest???

You know, I really love the idea of Raven "bucking the system" and making her own destiny.  It's refreshing to see a female "princess" character wanting to become more than expected.  I think I might be rooting for the rebels here!!  I cannot wait to see these dolls and I know my daughters and myself are going to fall head over heels!  Hooray Mattel for hitting another home run with the pre-tween market!!  The longer I keep my daughters interested in dolls, the better:)

I just finished watching the videos, and I have a few comments!

1. I'm warming up to this whole 'children of fairy tale' characters thing. (I especially liked the look of the daughter of Little Bo Peep.)

2. Ash - I knew I would like Ash from her photo! She seems so sweet and caring and genuine, and I was immediately drawn to her.

4. Briar - I really dislike her whole personality as well as the overuse of words such as 'like', 'totally', etc. It would be wonderful to see characters with a broader vocabulary. Too many people already overuse those sort of words in reality, and it's becoming quite disconcerting!

4. Regarding the overall theme of destiny...I'm not a fan. I do think that the concept of 'changing your destiny' is an improvement when it comes to fairy tales, but still, I think they could do with a much better theme here. Little girls are still being led to believe that it's their 'destiny' to end up with a prince-husband of their own and a perfect life which is just not real in any way, and so my hope is that this line helps girls to get past that. Personally, I think the concept of destiny itself is just silly. And I don't understand why the characters have to do EXACTLY what their parents did. Can you spell boring with a capital B?

So in gist, I'm not really a fan of the theme itself, and I find Briar and Apple a bit annoying, but I'm going to try to keep an open mind. If I love the dolls, I will surely get a few. But if the story line continues as it is, I probably won't be watching the videos.

P.S. Why couldn't Monster High have been given this level of animation? Grrrrrr
