Ughhhh, FedEx.

I have a package from FedEx that is scheduled to arrive on Thursday. However, the tracking says it's "on vehicle for delivery" today. I looked it up, and I'm really confused -- does that mean I'll get the package today, or are they seriously going to keep the package on the truck until Thursday? I know that FedEx does this sometimes, but I'm getting mixed results. Does anyone know?

I would imagine if it says "on truck for delivery" that is exactly what it means. I can't imagine they would be driving around with it for four days. I mean I have seen weirder but that seems crazy.

If I am remembering correctly don't they also tell you were it is located?  I mean the city not the truck

Yes, and the truck is not far from here. However, I saw a lot of people online saying that they'll do this often, they'll hold the package, declaring that it was too early to deliver.  I'm just really wanting them to deliver it on a day other than Thursday, because I have to go to the airport that day.

Hopefully since the truck is near you, it will get delivered then. How weird though that they do keep things on the truck for days. It wouldn't surprise me though.

I have had bad experiences with FedEx but I don't want to scare you. But I think it was just the driver we had for my area, I later learned he was fired. It was a blessing.
