I voted the task itself. I've got a ribbon and a wind whistler who has 30% of their flocking left. It's just so hard and time consuming!

I remember helping a few friends - I did a whole pony for one friend once - gosh darn it deflocking is hard.

I voted 'the task itself' because it was the closest thing to 'getting high from the de-flock products' that there was :P

so do you guys actually do section by section when it comes to the body?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I try and do a global deflock first (as much as will come off everywhere with as little effort) with hot water and a shower scrub glove, then focus on legs, body, and any other sections with no paint with the rougher stuff.  For symbols, eyes, and blushes, I go a bit more carefully, and never with anything stronger than Sally Hansen.  Works like a charm and does little to no damage. ^.^

Can't vote.  I  deflocking!  (Yeah, I know; I'm weird.  Yay, me! :P)

The only thing that I find difficult:  those last little teensy flecks of flocking (like, a stray strand or two here and there) that seem to cling no matter what. -_-  Eventually I get 'em, but they are the only things that bug me.

Sugar, you're great at deflocking!  If I remember correctly I bought a deflocked Cupcake from you and I still love her.  I was looking at her just yesterday wishing I had more deflocks.

Thanks!  I'm really pernickety about So Softs, so if they've got lots of flocking wear, I sort of have to deflock them - it kind of creeps me out otherwise.  I know, I am weird.  You may be in luck for other deflocks, though.  Now that my workspace has warmed up somewhat, I've got a few in the works; shoot me a pm and let me know if you're looking for any in particular! ;)

Been there...done that...the day I nearly passed out from paint stripper due to pony deflocking still makes my mum laugh.

For me its the wings and oddly underneath the hooves.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

WIIIIINGS!  *shakes fist and howls like Rocky*  So many little edges to get into!  And the flocking just shifts over to another little nook...

Oh dear...
I've successfully deflocked a Magic Star & she turned out fine, but now I'm halfway through a stubborn Paradise, & dreading reaching her wings.  :yikes:

I've been working on paradise for aaages... she's in a drawer now, the glue kept moving around instead of coming off, and I just got uber frustrated! I might pull her out today though and have ANOTHER go at getting that glue off and her wings done!
