New FS Twilight & Cadance spotted at Target

Not sure about Cadence but Twilight is an Alicorn now.

I found them last week. I saw only one Cadance and there were green marks on one of her shoes so I passed on her.

I don't really care for fashion style because they take alot of room up, and I am a MIB collector....so I feel like I am wasting it when I do not open them and have accessories. I will be getting the two packs however with Twilight and Rainbow Dash and Applejack and Cadance.

I just saw FS Cadance last week. I considered buying her, but I decided to pass because there are other ponies that are higher up on my wish list, and I'm trying my very best not to overspend right now because I'm saving up for a special birthday trip in September.

I found them today at a Target in Orlando, if that helps anypony out.  Still no sign of the Princess Twilight 2 pack around here though.

I have to agree that I'm not loving Twi's wings being purple.  I haven't had the chance to inspect her too closely but it looks like the same color as the Luna, which is probably just Hasbro being cheap again.

Working on expanding my FS herd size and since I like to collect released variant G4's, I will be pickin' these both up if I find them! I see differences in variants like day and night, so through my eyes  these are 2 completely different brand new ponies! I personally like Twi's new look with the wings, just wish the wings matched better...

Are there any differences in the actual ponies between the first FS release of Cadance and Twilight versus these two? Does anyone know?

The big thing  with is Twilight Sparkle is an alicorn, of course. Since she has Candance's alicorn mold, her legs are  straight vs. the original FS Twilight had a 'walking pose' just like the Pinkie Pie FS. This Twilight also has gem eyes! Her cutie mark is also on the opposite side.

This new FS Cadance isnt a Target exclusive, so she doesnt have the tinsel in her hair or glitter on her wings/ horn like the first FS Cadance release does. Her eyes are also have the gem shape! This Candace's wings are pink instead of purple- the same purple wings this new twilight sparkle has.

What irks me is that they didn't update her cutie mark. She got an additional star along with the wings. Good thing I'm handy with a tiny paintbrush.

I've bought Twilight online, I can't wait for her to be available here lol. I'll be giving the Cadance repeat a miss (she's glitter and Tinsel free it looks but that's not enough to warrant buying another, plus her dress is ugly lol) but if Shining Armour comes next with his prototype long hair he'll be a must have! I really hope he's next for a single FS release, and Big Mac would be sweet!

I think  theres a suprise! I remember the extra star being seen in the sky when she became an alicorn and on those banners during her coronation. However if you look at her after she becomes an alicorn, in hot minute,  and in EQG, she still has only 5 small white stars.  I wonder after she meets Sunset, maybe a new star will form on her CM? I dunno though because apparently Megan McCarthy said she wouldnt appear in season 4. AH I wanna know all these secrets already!

Both are cute, but I hope to just find them down the road at yard sales. I am really hoping that Sunset Shimmer shows up in my local Target soon. I can't wait to find her.

Found them both yesterday  Luckily they still had one of the cadence twopacks, and after comparing them she was different enough for me to get her. Plus I just love her random cowboy boots
