Your opinion on the new 2013 dolls?

I would have to say at the moment my favorites from the 13 Wishes line are Twyla,Frankie,Gigi,and Howleen
I do love the playsets aswell.
I think they could have done a bit better on Lala and Clawdeen,I loved the purple in her prototype much better.

I'm really only excited about 13 Wishes Tywla, Classroom Heath, Fashion Scarah Screams, and Friday 13th Catty Noir.

Overall I think the designs and themes are much weaker this year. I'm still disappointed by Gigi's colors and that they didn't dare to make a boy doll shorter than a girl doll (Heath).
Bloodgood and Wydowna might be the most interesting dolls for this year so far. I know a lot of you like Catty Noir, but I think Mattel tried way too hard with her. It almost looks like they fear the dolls being jet black will make them uninteresting to the target audience, so Catty has to look like a Barbie doll and Wydowna has to be the "geek exclusive".

But the Haunt the Casbah dolls look so much better than Ghouls Rule to me
I only wish more characters would have gotten a fancy party outfit. Why do they keep holding back a Cleo in a royal gown? You're tearing me apart, Lisa Mattel!

Actually if Abbey was made with the Nefera body mold like she should've to begin with it would look correct.  Heath is the same size as Clawd and Deuce in the show so he's ok to me.

As for the lines, I agree.  13 Wishes seems weaker than Scaris but that's not really fair.  I mean after both Skelita, Jinafire and a new updated Deuce anything else other than a line including Invisibilly, Wydona, Gil or any other coveted character would be a letdown.  Having said that...I am very excited for Heath, he's my biggest want.  But, I want Twyla and Howleen as well.  I love the Freshie 13 Wishes Lagoona but my older sister is getting her for sure so I can be content to play with hers..   Other than that I'm real excited for GNO Rochelle, DT Spectra (I want a Spectra to redress, Poulterghoul is never coming out of that outfit..) and maybe the music festival Venus. She looks very promising. I'm more excited for the upcoming fall Bratzillaz line than most of the MH lines for this year.

I really love how Gigi looks, I'll have to see if she's a must-buy when I find her in person.

I am excited in this order: Twyla, Lagoona, Howleen, Gigi... Those party dolls, or whatever they're called, I think look gaudy and awful.

I am on the fence about most of the 13 Wishes dolls, I will have to see them in person to decide which ones I am really interested in ownining.  The only dolls I know I want for sure are the Lab Partner Ghoulia, GNO Ghoulia, DC Rochelle, PD Oppie, and DT Spectra.  Those are must haves for me.

I am curious to see GNO Rochelle and Venus, fresh water Lagoona, the new Abbey (from 2 pack), Music Festival Venus, shoe fashion Lala, and the doll that comes with that laboratory playset.  At this point I am not very interested in either Twyla or Gigi, but perhaps seeing them in person will change my mind about them ... I was not interested in Skelita or GR Clawdeen either and they are now two of my favorite dolls  .  Catty Noir is another I want to see, she looks lovely and I am leaning towards wanting her, but I will just have to see her first.

I really want Gil too. Gil and Twyla..
I would love more new dolls and not so much the old ones in new clothes..
But.. well.. good for my wallet =)

Anyways... i think its bad to put gil in a 5 package with 4 girls that i allready have or dont want..
