Diamond Tiara has shown up a couple of times in very limited numbers.

Have we seen a confirmed SA with the blue painted hooves?

We havent seen him this way.

But he and Cadence are floating around in more reasonable numbers than Lyra. So while yes that could simply be down to their presence in another set, I was thinking perhaps its just unlikely we are getting blue hooves and the SAs we are seeing are his actual release?

Sooo.....what if Hasbro substituted Lyra in the Fan Favs box for Minty?

1) We have seen all the Fan Favs ponies on Taobao now...except for the new Lyra who is also supposed to be in this set
2) Similar ish palette colours
3) No stamp on Minty's foot means she should in theory be part of a set

Oh and please take this wild speculation as exactly that - speculation and probably completely and utterly wrong.

I wondered that too! I think dark haired Lyra was cute, but I'd rather get a Minty in the set than a double...

Yeah, I'd be highly surprised (pleased, but surprised) if he's actually released with blue hooves.

As awesome as that would be I don't think they are. Diamond Tiara/Bubble Butt/Lyrica don't have glitter symbols.

Isn't also the SA from the toy fair more of a sparkly pearl metallic plastic then the basic white we have been seeing. At least, he looked metallic to me.

I was thinking the same thing. He looked like he had a pearl coating on him.

I also think no glitter-  and really, subbing in Minty for Lyra makes a LOT of sense!  She is a fan favorite after all, and it would be odd to have another Lyra.  Maybe the ORIGINAL plan was to have Lyra but they amended that at some point...
