I just saw this set (and the Princess Twilight/ Rainbow Dash set) at Target (Corpus Christi, TX) about an hour ago. Wasn't expecting to see them on the shelves until July or August. :o  I only got the Princess Twilight set.

Wanted to give you guys the heads up to check your Target, in case you guys were thinking about getting either set.

guess Fluttershy   has no Princess to be paired with ,unless Shining Armor gets renamed to Prince Shining Armor and they pair them, and after that we are out of Royalty 
I just got a loose Princess TS and White Princess Celestia from ebay ,china sellers are listing a lot of the new ponies
I would still want the sets to keep MIB and just have the 4 sets series completed:)
I have a feeling the Mrs Cake and new pink baby pony set is an international release !?!
hope not,but just in case I will get me a loose pair on ebay from china sellers too

I have a question to anyone else who has bought this set at Target (early release )

I just bought this set yesterday along with the RD/TS twin pack at my local Target. I went to take em out if the package, and their tails felt.....dry and crusty? Almost like the nylon was fried! I soaked their tails in warm water and tons of conditioner and its still kinda dead feeling all 4 were like that! There manes are fine but omg those tails! I trimmed them a little in attempt to make them softer. I had this problem too with my Mrs Cake proto. Rainbow's is the worst and her tail is almost... waterproof? It doesnt get dark or even wet when I soak it in water....almost like its a different type of nylon. Luckily I could do a rehair!

Does anyone else have this problem with these ponies?

I really like Cadance's crown, but I already have a Cadance (and an AJ) so I don't want to buy the set just for the crown. I do want the set with Twilight, though.

This set makes sense if you didn't get Twilight Sparkle + Cadance... and Twilight was better to get with Ploomette. If only they made crystal bath Fluttershy + Rainbow Dash instead of Pinkie Pie, then you could get all mane 6 and all princesses in nice dual packs.
On the other hand, maybe they should make it Cadance + Fluttershy and make Applejack + Rainbow Dash instead of Fluttershy + Pinkie Pie, as Applejack and Rainbow Dash are two least Canterlotish ponies of mane 6... just my thoughts

I saw this set at Walmart the other day. These new toys are being released a lot sooner than that old EW article claimed. I hope the Mrs. Cake playset hits stores soon. The pre-order for it on BBTS says July.
