So, I'm at tru right now... and the shelves are packed with GA, Scaris, and...wave 2 PD.  Tons of Oppies. But I don't wanna pay $30 for a doll that should be $20. 

For being Canada I find those prices to be normal.
As aweful as that sounds lol

What kind of MH dolls do they carry at Family Dollar? Like, only the slim box dolls?

They have rerelased some of the original signatures. I read that Clawdeen, Frankie and Draculaura will be available in the US in the summer. So Dazzlekitty you will have an opportunity to find Clawdeen. I like her quite a lot, she is very pretty. I like her more than I actually thought I ever would.

Yay! Sig. Clawdeen and Draculaura are some really wanted dolls for me,Along with every other Signature doll ._. Just need Clawdeen,Draculaura,Cleo&Deuce and Lagoona for my 1st wave collection to be completed.
The only other Sig dolls I own are Ghoulia,Frankie,Abbey and I guess Skelita counts as Scaris is the only release of her? :-p

I finally found the third and forth Lisi Harrison MH books in paperback today:)  Meijer had a whole book endcap with ALL the MH books and activity books.  I saw the new Ghoulfriends books, but they were hardcover:(  I have a thing against hardcover books.

Do you think the new Ghoulfriend books will make it to paperback?

Probably Kitter, it just takes publishers around a year to go into paperback.

Was thinking the same thing. After the hardcover is released, most (if not, all books) print out a paperback version of the book later on. I THINK The paperback version of the first GFF is out, or at least that's what Amazon says.

Oh I know. I can deal with Walmart's prices if I want something enough... but not tru. $30 is more than I'm willing to pay for a doll that isn't an exclusive. I really like PD Lagoona though....

Could someone with PD Operetta and Dot Dead Gorgeous Operetta post a photo comparing the two in their stock? I'm trying to decide which one I like better, and stock images don't help me! I have yet to find a PD Opie anywhere to compare myself.

I guess this is personal preference but I would opt for PD Opie, I actually bought a DDG and wasn't too impressed with her and took her back, I'm waiting for PD instead... I don't know what it was, she just wasn't that impressive.  I guess it's down to personal preference but that's what I think.  According to the interwebs a lot of people agree, I think it's level of detail in the PD version that people love

......I think it's a bit too early for pics of PD Operetta next to her DDG doll.

I've only heard of two maybe three of us who have managed to find her (plenty of PD Frankies and Lagoona though )  Odds aren't great those two or three people have the DDG doll too.

Okay, someone prove me wrong:)

Just for the record, I LOVE the PD version, myself.  The hair is EPIC.  Clothes are neat too.  None of the DDG dolls do a thing for me:(

Worried about 13W and Abby/Heath availability this fall (to say nothing of Music Festival Venus, who looks like she may be rare).  I've agreed not to buy any new dolls until after DragonCon and I don't want to miss the boat.
