They are pretty huge!

Somewhere around I have the PDF from when they were originally sold in 2008. I would have loved one at the time but a) they weren't cheap, b) I'd've had to hire a van and drve to Blackpool and c) I wouldn't have anywhere to put one anyway.

*edit* forgot that some kind of children's charity or home or something have one or two, as they were visible in a piece filmed there at the end of Russell Howard's Good News once. I think. My memory isn't what it used to be!

All the pictures show them on a little wheely cart- which makes me think they are very heavy?  But they must be transparent or they wouldn't light up-  so are they fiberglass?

Anyone know how on earth they made these ?   I seriously need an enormous glowing pony in my yard...

Received a message from the seller of the ponies, which I am sharing as I want them to go to a pony loving home!

Thank you for your message regarding the pony I have listed on line.My original plan was to ship them to America, as I had an American buyer willing to pay £1,500 each for the two ponies, however there was not enough room in his shipping container.

I purchased the two ponies I have from an auction held in Blackpool by the local council who sold a lot of illumination off. I have a copy of the original auction booklet.

The ponies are unique and made in fibreglass under licence so there is not another one like it in the world. I have fixed wheels on the the Ponies to make it easy to move them about, although for there size they are very light.

The second pony is smaller however could do with a new base which I'm intending to do in the next couple of days. It is my intention then to place this one also on eBay.

I understand another pony sold in a Manchester auction last year for just over £2000, however I will be happy to receive anything on or over the reserve price of £300.

Please note that I have contacted a number of collectors who intend to bid on the pony and thought that this was the easiest way to sell it so that all the interested parties have an opportunity to bid.My contact number is - - - - - - if you would like any further details.
