Two versions of Applebloom?

I've heard few times about Applebloom with maroon hair or from "Fun at fair" set. What's the difference between this and the other version?

Not sure about hair, but the Fun at the Fair Applebloom has straight legs like a typical g4, while her other releases have one bent leg.

Yes there's a difference in the hair color from the Fun at the Fair pack and Pony School Pals and also Flower Girl Pack =)

The first one from the fun at the fair set had a less vibrant red-coloured hair, but the next Applebloom with in the raised-leg pose has brighter, more vibrant red-coloured hair.

I have the Applebloom in my sig that has the brighter red hair, but no comparison pics, unfortunately. Its not a huge difference, but you can see the difference side by side.

I live the second version - I prefer her hair colour better.

I believe there are 3 versions technically as the bonus Apple Bloom which came with the train set had a hair colour close to the first one but not quite the same.

Yeah I planned to get all of the straight legged ones (at that point the bent legs were all 2nd releases), until I saw the hair difference. The darker hair is waaay prettier! And then the adults came out that only had a bent leg release, and well THAT went out the drain...
