The glue inside g3 heads. Just awful!! I too have broken 2 airbrush nozzles, so good to know that bit left behind can come off!! Stabbing with a rehair needle? Oh yes indeed that hurts!! What hurts more is breaking the needle after just sitting down, then realizing you don't have another one cut ready to go!! Or the kids want something after you've just sat down. Or the cat finds a rather large spider But I have learned when pulling tails thru to wrap the ends of the threading wire (I use plastic coated wire) around pliers - no cut fingers!! Another bother is paint coming off the neck seam when putting heads back on. Grrr!!

Finished sealing the two girls I was working on last night... Went to put Triple Thick on the gold one's eyes and cutie mark, and found more paint cracked off her.

Seriously? Never using Reaper's paint for ponies again!

I'm just so sick of problems with this girl that I'm done with her.

mother nature. add her to the list... beautiful outside, finished a FBR that was givin me grief, went out to seal her before i do symbols... that was going well... decided to give her one more spray for good measure before goin back inside... and BAM! Gnat! sigh. luckily i managed to pluck it off with my nails without smearing the sealant but still... was kinda funny...

Not a part of the customizing itself, but the fact that one recently got lost in the mail. That annyos me more than any of the creative aspects ever could. And yes, those occasionally get on my nerves

More of a "what was I thinking?": I decided to leave the hair on a G3 and create a rhinestone symbol.  Find all of the itty bitty green stones.  With help from Lily the cat.  Pony's hair has FRIZZ.  WHY did I not deal with the hair first??  I may frizz it further and call her a "perfume puff". 
I just found my bottle of glue.  Little teeth marks in the lid.  Sigh...

I use twist ties to pull the tails through, it makes it easier because they hold their shape.

ohh, yes, i have to try them, thank you! they are also broader so they wont cut in the fingers so much. ^^ thanks a lot!
(i have plenty of twist ties for my blended hair, and i think they don´t even have a proper name in german. we just call them " wire-closings for bags" or something like that.)

I dislike it when the ears of a pony don't seal properly, and I don't discover the fact until I'm styling the pony's hair and scrape a finger nail across the surface, taking some paint off. Grrr! I blame their down-hill nature.

My custom anger is lost things! Where do they disappear too? My needle tool is gone, my extra magnets *poof* and somewhere I have dropped a head I cannot find!

Check up by your finished customs! That's where mine was hiding!

My current iritation is every single day off I've had this last month, when I want to acetone ponies, the weather hasn't cooperated. Yesterday, it was in the 70s, and I was stuck at work. Today?  Yeah. It's melted right away, mind, but still.

Oh yes!!  The missing head!  Lily took off with one a few months ago and I have not seen it since.  It's a DG baby, so not like I can find another right away.  And it had been rehaired already!

Someone please tell me, is it actually possible to remove the neck plug without piercing the neck somewhere?! 
I'm on my fourth G4 custom, and I was so close to getting that plug out without piercing the body anywhere. Then I stuck my knife through her lower neck. 
I've had to cover it up on all the others.
I am really dreading customizing the Luna I bought today.. Not looking forward to removing those wings to access the tail 
I have nothing but respect for anyone who has customized a G4. These things want to kill you.

You need patience, a sharp knife, and some more patience.

Yes, this. I sliced open my left index finger so bad I have no feeling in the top of my finger.
