Most of my IT friends never finished college, but at least have some higher education experience in their fields. Computer science or engineering would be the way to go. All things considered, when getting a job, a degree looks better on paper, unless you have experience.

But things might be different at their satellite offices rather than at their HQ (which is where a few of my friends work).
Do your research. If you OVERQUALIFY, they wont take you 9/10 times.
