Leaper was the one I had as a kid. I had one pony from each set (unless I got more from garage/yard sales) and usually my mom would pick them out for me, especially if it was going to be an Easter, Birthday or Christmas present. Her favorite color is green and she collects frogs, so it was pretty natural that she'd pick Leaper for me out of all the boys from that set. I wanted to get him again when I got back into collecting, but he was far out of my price range and I'm sure that hasn't changed.

I wanted him as a child, but he wasnt available in Germany. I saw him pictured on my childhood carry case back then and always wondered if this pony really existed.

My sentiments exactly, Cat!  You gotta admit, his colours are a bit odd... teal green body and bright pink hair with a black dog wearing a red and yellow scarf.  And yet, it works!  But I suppose if you think of a lot of clan tartans, the colour schemes don't always make sense, either, do they?

I love them all (and have them all) but my faves are Countdown  followed by Drummer    drummer was the only one I had as a kid so he still has a special place in my heart, but I like Count Downs color and symbols better

I WANT baby Drummer!  My partner is learning guitar, one of our boarders is an AMAZING guitarist, (and singer) I can't carry a tune in a bucket but I wanted to join in out house band...  So I took up drums.  Taught myself, I kinda need a tutor now cause I think I have gone as far as I can on my own.  (But that can cost a lot!!!) So since I am learning drums I want the drummer pony.  Has a special meaning to me now.  We have get togethers and some pretty good parties out here, apparently we sound pretty good!  :-)

Between Leaper, Waddles or Racer are my Favorites but picking one would be Leaper But Waddles is not far behind on my list!

Lol - yes thats certainly true! Due to the colour limitations centuries ago a lot of tartans are not he most pleasing on the eye colour combinations. I guess Paws is just carrying that lack of colour co ordination on
